We are running 7 events at each show this year. Our club meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the club house. All AVDR members are welcome.

  • Treasurer report submitted on behalf of Andria Witmer.
  • Andrea Witmer is the Club Treasurer and is authorized to sign checks, make deposits, as evidenced by her signature on the signature card.
  • Jennifer Tiefuhr presented the breakdown of the riders that qualified for the basic awards and the final standings. Orion will post these on the AV Desert Riders website.
  • Doug presented the idea of letting club members that did not qualify for the basic award to purchase jackets. The club voted and it was decided that members had to earn the jackets and could not buy them.
  • The next season's schedule was discussed and will be posted on the AVDR website.
  • The trash service will be switched to Benz Sanitation due to the continual price increases by Waste Management.
  • Orion requested to post pictures on the website and to set up a photo gallery so that other members can submit pictures to the website to be posted if appropriate. The board agreed.
  • The board decided to discontinue the High Point awards as this was funded by the 50/50 raffle and there has been insufficient ticket purchases to purchase decent awards.
  • The board decided that next season, awards will only be given to 6th place.
  • AVDR will be setting up a Facebook page at www.facebook.com/avdesertriders
