Please note: We are no longer participate as a CGA sanctioned district. Please refer to the AVDR Rule Book for the current rules and qualifications for year end prizes. We are running 7 events at each show this year. Our club meetings are on the first Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the club house. All AVDR members are welcome.

  • Treasurers Report distributed.
  • It was brought to the attention of the Board that new members may not be aware of requirements for
    participation in our awards program (including basic awards). We will remedy this situation prior to the
    first event at Sunday’s show.
  • Halloween Costume contest will be this Sunday, October 12th. Awards for several different categories
    (to be determined) and participation goodie bags.
  • Plans finalized for the awards luncheon/play day to be held on Sunday, October 19th are as follows:
    • Lunch: $5.00 per person. Choice of BBQ Chicken sandwich or BBQ Pork sandwich, Macaroni &
      Cheese, Beans, Beverage.
    • Flyers for the luncheon will be emailed to members by Friday, October 10th. A sign up sheet will
      also be available at the show on Sunday. It would be appreciated if you can indicate participate
      your participation and pay for lunch at this Sunday’s show but you may also pay on the day of
      the banquet. We are just trying to get an estimated number of participants so we know how
      much food to purchase.
    • Play Day events will be Single Stake +1, Poles Keyhole, Back-Up Barrels and Barrels. Cost will be
      $20 for the four runs (mix & match). $2.00 per each additional run.
    • $10.00 Raffle Prize per participant for the raffle table please.
    • The okay has been given for the Leona Valley Gymkhana Queens to participate in handing out
      awards, etc. at the awards banquet.
